Center Paris Anim' Mado Robin A chaotic and dreamlike reality Personal exhibition Alain Cabot 84 rue Mstislav Rostropovitch, 75017, Paris December 2019, free entry Dark frames, worked in a dominant tone (yellow, red or blue), an “apparation” stands out : shadows, dreams, nightmares, silhouettes or human figures, arrested in a gesture, an action, an everyday movement. These are scenes of urban life which bring into existence for a short moment figures which seem to emerge from the shadows, to cross the wall of the non-existent where they will immediately plunge back. Fugitive visions, chance encounters, illusions of life perceived in the daily realities of recognizable urban settings, where solitudes meet which intersect and which each evolve according to a different trajectory.
