From June 25 to July 5, 2020 Thursday to Sunday from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. I propose to present to you a work project on vacancy in the etymological sense of the term (vacuum = void), through the creation of a series of 10 works which will represent settings of nature, the city and other places where we will notice an absence. Vacance(s) evokes the idea of the void which carries absence, empty time to be filled, time suspended in emptiness. It is a natural time where the elements of nature and the living come to the fore; it is also the time of abandonment (ruins, deserted places), of the absence of men hidden, confined and terrified by a threatening evil.
